More About Susan

Susan has a keen understanding of regulated industries and products. She brings not only her deep knowledge of chemistry to every project, but she also a wealth of experience honed over decades of work supporting product development through commercialization and into regular compliance.

Susan's professional career has been focussed in the tobacco industry with significant work in product development and harm reduced tobacco products.  She began her career in private industry with Phillip Morris USA in 1996 and then continued her career with Altria. She has a deep understanding of the tobacco industry, its history and progression.

She moved into consulting in 2021  with firms specializing in regulatory submissions under the Tobacco Control Act.  She has worked on regulatory strategy and scientific review and analysis across a range of submission types -- SEs, PMTAs, MRTPs, Deficiency Letters -- and the scientific studies that support those submissions.
