Andrew has over 20 years of experience in bioinformatics. Not only is he an expert when it comes to datasets -- large and small -- but he brings a strong background in microbiology, genetics, epidemiology, toxicology and pharmacovigilance. With almost two decades of experience in life sciences consulting, he is uniquely able to find practical business solutions to the most complex scientific issues.
Education
Andrew received his AB in Molecular Biology from Princeton University, and PhD in Bioinformatics from the University of California, San Diego.

Andrew is a highly accomplished scientist and respected industry leader with more than 20 years of experience at the intersection of academic research and innovation in the life sciences. Andrew is a founding owner of Sanova and a co-founder and former CEO of Venebio Group, LLC.
As CEO, Andrew drives the company's focus in each of its core areas of expertise -- scientific, regulatory, and legal support -- working closely with Sanova's scientific and regulatory teams in concert with its clients. He is also highly involved in scientific research and development efforts, as a major contributor to the work product and as a mentor and advisor.
Andrew specializes in statistical modeling and advanced data analytics and visualization for complex problems. His recent efforts have focused on tobacco and opioid harm reduction, post-market surveillance, and leveraging or repurposing real-world evidence (RWE), laboratory, clinical, and public health survey data for regulatory and legal engagements.
Andrew has co-authored over 40 peer-reviewed publications and contributed to numerous regulatory interactions, including applications for breakthrough designation, orphan drug designation, sNDAs, SEs, PMTAs, MRTPAs, and TPSAC meetings.
