Kym Wellons, JD
Kym began her career as a litigator and moved into legal and business roles with major companies before joining Sanova. Her three decades of experience in litigation, law department management, human resources & compliance give her strong insights to a range of business issues and strategic business solutions, both for Sanova and for our clients.

More about Kym
Kym began her career as a litigator, trying cases before juries, judges and administrative tribunals. She concentrated her practice in employment discrimination but also handled a number of cases involving catastrophic injuries and fatalities. She took her first in-house role with a publicly traded client in 2003 to manage their litigation and human resources functions.
Kym moved from that first role into successively larger and more challenging legal and compliance roles with MeadWestvaco (WestRock) over her twelve years with the company. In 2020, she accepted an executive business role at Silgan Dispensing Systems managing and architecting the human resources, product stewardship, safety programming and legal functions in a rapidly growing global company.
In 2023, Kym moved into life sciences consulting, joining Venebio as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel. She is a co-founder of Sanova.
Kym brings perspective and experience to the running of Sanova's business. Additionally, her extensive litigation and litigation management background uniquely positions her to help our clients get the expert consulting services their case demands.
Education
Kym received her JD from Harvard Law School in Cambridge, Massachusetts and her BA in Political Science and French from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi.
